My brain loves planning, but my hand doesn’t. As soon as I have a clear picture of what I want to draw, my hand feels an urge to draw something else entirely. It’s annoying and it happens far too often.1
A few days ago, I decided to draw about this. It took about a drawing and a half for my hand to change subjects. But I kept going for a bit longer after that.

So often that I decided to make drawings about it, but not often enough for me to actually learn how to deal with it.
